A powerful, though poorly-constructed trailer for Damien Chazelle's Whiplash, which has the potential to emerge as one of American indie cinema's most popular films of 2014. The drama, which is proving to be quite the festival hit, with screenings at Sundance and Cannes, and an upcoming one at Toronto, is already an award-winner for its rising star director.
