Joshua Oppenheimer's The Act of Killing was one of the standouts of the 2012-2013 festival season and the 2013-2014 awards season. We'll not think about how that ended, though; we'll think about his companion piece, The Look of Silence. After premiering last August at the Venice Film Festival, the documentary received rave reviews from critics alongside a series of awards from fest juries. Finally, the film awaits its US release on the 17th of July - hopefully, a UK release won't be far behind.
