HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 IS DREAMWORKS' LATEST ANNIE AWARD WINNER

You know the Annie voters love them some DreamWorks Animation... possibly because about 101% of them are employed by DreamWorks. Or were. Whatever the case, somehow How to Train Your Dragon 2 has emerged as the Animation favourite of the industry this year, despite losing its studio yet more money and being overshadowed in the public consciousness by The LEGO MovieBut it's not up for the Oscar, and who's even seen The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (people with sense and taste), so Annie threw a few in the way of 'relevance', as they seem to interpret it. Blind loyalty to the status quo strikes me more as a broader cultural irrelevance in most cases each awards season, but who am I but a lowly member of the public, separated from most Hollywood hotshots by a continent and an ocean.
