2014 INTERNATIONAL CINEPHILE SOCIETY NOMINATIONS - STRANGER BY THE LAKE ON TOP

The nominations for the International Cinephile Society awards this year are heavy on quality, and heavy on big-hitters. Stranger by the Lake leads with nine nods, but right behind it is Mommy with eight. And behind that, both The Grand Budapest Hotel and Under the Skin with seven, Boyhood with six and then Goodbye to Language 3D and Mr. Turner each with five. And that's not even scratching the surface of the multiple-nominees on their slate, all of which are richly deserving of such acclaim. Prepare for their winners on the 20th of February, which may settle a few outstanding categories in Screen On Screen's Critics Tally 2014.
