Nightcrawler seems to be the pace-setter for surprise success this awards season, not least because we've underestimated its chances so often. But it shares its unexpected victory at the Nevada Film Critics Society with another thriller, Gone Girl. David Fincher's film defies the negative buzz to win the group's Best Film award - its first (and possibly last) this season. All the winners are below:
