TORONTO REPORT: THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING

I wasn't initially sold on The Theory of Everything, believing it to be just another and thinking British period biopic, and thinking that The King and Man of Wire director James Marsh had sold out. Well, according to critics at the Toronto International Film Festival, he hasn't, because the Stephen Hawking film is reportedly excellent. Here's the evidence: from Catherine Shoard at The Guardian, David Sexton at Evening Standard, Leslie Felperin at The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Gorber at TwitchFilm, Gregory Ellwood at In Contention, Justin Chang at Variety, Alonso Duralde at The Wrap, Tim Robey at The Telegraph and Nikola Grozdanovic at The Playlist.
