Michael Winterbottom can be very hit-or-miss as a director, and turns out so many films so often that it's easy to wonder how good he could be if he took a little more time and paid a little more care to his films. Amanda Knox trial drama The Face of an Angel, starring model Cara Delevingne never looked like one of his strongest propositions, but reviews out of TIFF are very promising.
