FOXCATCHER CATCHES RAVES FROM CANNES CRITICS


Speculation regarding whether Sony Pictures Classics decided to postpone Foxcatcher's release from last year's awards season to some time in 2014 because it was too good to suffer the potential ignominy of disappointing in last year's competitive field or because it was too bad to ever be able to compete at all has finally come to an end, as Bennett Miller's sports drama has premiered at Cannes to ecstatic reviews.
