Do directors ever actually want Rachel McAdams in their films? Like, wasn't she in that shit Richard Curtis film About Time? She wasn't even first choice for that one. And Terrence Malick only let her in To the Wonder cos she got her tits out in it (that might have been a body double tbh, and that might not be true tbh). I'm there for Nina Hoss; most might be there for the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Funny to see him in a trailer and think "He's dead like..." There were decent reviews out of Sundance; it's released in the US on the 25th of July. The screenplay, from John le Carre's novel, is by Lantana's Andrew Bovell.
