There once was a time that an Abel Ferrara film starring Willem Dafoe would have received significant critical, and possibly even commercial, attention. Such are the times that their latest is somewhat shrouded in secrecy, but is receiving significant attention from me! One of the cinema's most intriguing filmmaking partnerships at present, if not necessarily the best... No word yet on when their film about the final days of Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini will be seen, but I can give you official word that it definitely will be seen. By me.
