There's a reason Michael Douglas personally insists on Ellen Mirojnick to design the costumes for his films, and she's proven her worth with this showcase-of-showcases for costume design. No Liberace biopic would be complete without the extraordinarily elaborate outfits, which Ms. Mirojnick made spectacular not only for Douglas as the campest piano superstar in entertainment history but for the entire supporting cast too. Runners-up include Daniela Ciancio for The Great Beauty, Paco Delgado for Blancanieves, Jackye Fauconnier for The Strange Colour of Your Body's Tears and Audrey Louise Reynolds for Kiss of the Damned.
