CRITICS CHOICE NOMINATIONS - 12 YEARS AND AMERICAN HUSTLE LEAD WITH 13 EACH

The BFCA consider themselves critics, and consider themselves influential. They are neither. They are Oscar predictors with precious little knowledge of the medium of cinema. They've nominated as many of their favourite stars in as many categories as possible so that their CW broadcast in a month's time (the 16th of January) will bag as many dumbass viewers as possible. 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle led the Golden Globe nominations with seven each, and lead here too with 13 each.

  1. 6 damn spots and they still miss out on Exarchopoulos and Seydoux. They want Johansson to come over, ofcourse. Out of the line categories are just so much to hold so little credibility, pity. So, American Hustle actually scored 10 noms. Bruhl is looking great. Complete the trifecta. Wolf of Wall Street did decently considering where Django Unchained was last year at this stage. Solid 5 legit noms + 1. And a shoutout to Rockwell nom.
So, Journey to the centre of the Russell part 2 begins.

    1. David O. Russell + Jennifer Lawrence = BFCA's wet dream, I fear. Typical this lot like.
