BAFTA-winner and twice Oscar-nominated British actor Julie Walters will receive the Richard Harris Award for outstanding contribution to British film by an actor at the British Independent Film Awards ceremony on the 8th of December. She joins fellow British thesps John Hurt, Daniel Day-Lewis and Ralph Fiennes in the list of this certain award's winners. Walters has only been nominated for one BIFA, for Billy Elliot, but she's definitely a worthy recipient of it cos I think she's great! Here are the BIFA's 2013 nominations.
