I was wondering if this was just something I had forgotten about, but now I think it's just something I might never have heard of in the first place. Tim Burton was, back in 2011, attached to Quasimodo, a new adaptation of Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, with Josh Brolin in the lead (rly? Josh Brolin?) Now, though, it's Zhang Yimou in charge, which interests me even more than the idea of Tim Burton directing. The Warner Bros. film is from a script by Kieran and Michele Mulroney.
