Have a hoke at this boys and girls! Alex von Warmerdam's Borgman will screen in competition at Cannes on Sunday, but the trailer (click on the image above to go to it) is all we have to chew on for now. It sure looks interesting! Von Warmerdam wrote, directed and stars in the thriller, and the gardener is played by Gene Bervoets, who was the victim of such terrible torment in the famous Dutch film The Vanishing. Looking forward to this!

Lubezki's lenses makes the simple image look so abundant and arousing. Even with the presence of 2 Hollywood Oscar winning stars, it tries to convey more than what meets the eye. May be am overstating, may be, but to me, its just flawless. Give him the Oscar already.
