Zero Dark Thirty and The Master are big favourites among VFCC members, it would seem; Argo even went without a single nomination to begin with. Some slightly alternative choices among acting awards, with the Oscar frontrunners (Day-Lewis, Lawrence, Jones, Hathaway) losing out in each. War Witch is clearly popular in the Canadian categories. Holy Motors wins another Foreign Language Film award of late, which is very positive.
